[QUOTE 2010 USC in the swamp, we win, we play for SEC Championship. The game was over by half. Marcus Lattimore embarrassed us. God was smiling down on the gamecocks that night
That 2010 gamecocks loss was the first one that popped up in my mind. I took a friend of mine and we had tickets in the north end zone that I got from a family friend. When we got to our seats we were accused of being in the wrong seats by a fellow gator fan. She went as far as getting an usher. We definitely were in the correct seats. It just really bothered me that we were accused of stealing seats from a fellow gator fan. On top of that we were destroyed by halftime in that game.
As for me, it's a tossup between Vandy '13, Missouri '14, and FSU '15. Missouri might be out of the running since it was a great day aside from the game and I basically drank an entire bottle of Jameson. FSU was actually a fun day, too. We'll go with Vandy. There was absolutely nothing redeeming about that day.
Ouch. What's even worse to me is that night is the all-time record holder for largest crowd in Swamp history, beating out Tebow's last home game.Had some friends that insisted on joining us for that game, despite my telling them it would probably an expensive waste of a trip, and horrible first game experience for them. We were already in Gville for the long weekend, but they had to get a room for 2 nights, plus $150 a piece for tickets. On the Monday before the game, they realize they'd bought tix for the FAU game a week prior. Not to be deterred, they bought 2 more tix at like $200 a clip, and came up to watch a 27-2 disaster. We estimated they spent around $1500 all in. I feel bad even typing the story.
I’m going to go with 85 Rutgers. Up 28-7 midway third quarter, tied at 28-28, Galen pulls Bell for Rodney Brewer. Unbelievable!
I was proud of our men in blue that day. The unsung heros to Gator fans far and wide. They turned an horrifically bad Saturday afternoon into a glorious victory for the Gator Nation.Wow. Hopefully someone got a good look at that officer’s face to identity him later. I’d hate to think of the award and credit going to just some random guy that happened to be on duty that day.
