  • John Dunmore, a 4-star wide receiver in the Class of 2019, has de-committed from Florida. He tweeted a long message about his decision, thanking McElwain, Mullen and Seider while writing, “I understand that this will burn bridges and create so much tension between me and the people of Florida, but what I hope is that you find it in your heart to understand that I have people that depend on me for their well-being.”
  • Marcus Crowley, a 3-star Class of 2019 running back from Jacksonville, also tweeted about receiving an offer from the Gators. Crowley is committed to Miami and ranked the No. 52 running back nationally in next year’s recruiting class by the 247Sports composite.
  • And Jesiah Pierre, a 3-star Class of 2019 outside linebacker from Mount Dora, Fla. Pierre, ranked the No. 38 OLB in his class, is committed to Miami.
  • Along with Class of 2019 Superior Collegiate Academy (Clearwater, Fla.) teammates Ethan White, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive tackle, and Chris Scruggs Jr., a wide receiver.

Never too early IMO. With another year under his belt and a few more pounds on his frame, Baldwin really looks like a Mullin spread QB. Ethan White has the frame but needs a little work. Keep in mind a few of these kids will likely acquire another star between now and next December.

It is not! I was just wondering if he’s superhuman. I mean, he is Emmitt’s kid.

I'm the last person in the world who - seriously - throws out the race card. It was just a good time to use that emoji thing!! :D

2019 quarterback offers

On Monday, the Gators extended two more quarterback offers for the 2019 class including one instate prospect and one out of state player.

2019 QB David Baldwin (6-4, 215, Bradenton, FL. IMG) transferred into Florida from California. Baldwin says he plans to visit Florida now and he has seen his recruitment blow up.

2019 QB Sam Howell (6-1, 217, Monroe, NC. Sun Valley) has been on a roll lately in picking up offers. Howell picked up Georgia and Ohio State offers last week as well.

Other 2019 offers

Mississippi State athlete commit Diwun Black (6-3, 180, Forest, MS. High) really likes Dan Mullen but seems pretty solid to Mississippi State.

The 2019 class wasn’t the only class getting offers this week as several 2020 offers were also extended.

Defensive tackle Jerzhan Newton (6-3, 230, Clearwater, FL. Central Catholic) is the younger brother of Jerjuan Newton who as also offered on Monday.

Thanks for keeping up with this BMF. We are throwing offers out like they’re skittles from a bowl. I’ll be impressed once we start following up with them.

Anybody know if we are offering OL? Seems like a lot of defenders and skill position guys
