Other than their scheme being very much run-based, a top flight RB picking them right now is one of the dumbest things imaginable given their current roster. Maybe we'll get a chance in his transfer year.

We need a special LB/Star class to shore up the run D and it’s gonna be a problem with no big DL commits too but the O line is good and bevy year we should be able to sell to the skill guys and with Lee and possibly Bowman in the next class we should be good at RB

2. This IS a very scary sign. If we can't haul in a top-10 class with the season we just had, then we probably never will under Mullen. Mullen is - IMO - the best at doing more with less. But you still have to have SOME talent.
3. I don't know if today's Zook would have the same magic he had 15-20 years ago. But it seems like we need some kind of staff shake-up to improve recruiting.
4. Is our lack of facilities the big problem?

For those wondering how many we can take this class:

- We can take 26 (or 27 if the Randy Russell spot is not used as an initial counter to last years class).
- We currently have 18 spots open (9 seniors, Gardner declaring, 7 open scholarships/walk-ons currently on a scholarship, and Lemmons transferring).
- To sign 26 or 27 we'll need a few transfers and/or players declaring.
