BPI's NCAA tournament bracket simulation will surprise you
No. 8 Colorado over No. 9 Florida
What a fall for Florida, from being a team we actually called a co-preseason favorite with Michigan State to now a quiet first-round exit. BPI gave the Gators a 59% chance to win this contest, but on this day it was the Buffaloes who came out on top.
No surprise we were #9 seed (probably lost our first SEC tourney game b/c Blackshear was hurt).
Of course we lost a game we were favored to win.
Here's how I imagine the game:
We lose 62-57. It was a close game, with no team opening greater than a 6 point lead. We're up by 2 at halftime, but then we get on a cold streak and Colorado makes enough shots to take the lead. We're within 4 points with 10 seconds left, but Locke misses a 3 pointer. Colorado rebounds, makes 1 of 2 FTs, and that's the game. Our top player as usual was KJ, with Nembhard close behind. Nobody else scored more than 8 points.
Isn't life so amazing where the only sports we have is either watching old games or imagining future games?
Name and town if you wish to opine.
