Recruiting 2020 Recruiting Thread: Gervon Dexter gets 5th Star on Rivals

Really strange that next year's class is shaping up so well, but we're still lagging behind on this year's class.

We have four 4* and three 3*.

Just a tad more than a year ago, Butters and scUM had a "#1 2019 class". It really doesn't mean shyt this far out. We just happen to be one of the few teams offering kids right now.

Hopefully we can make some commitments to recruiting staff and get something going in 2019.

Thank you! The notion that the 2020 kids love us even though the 2019 cant stand us. Lol . Miami is reaping the benefits of getting their class committed a year early.

Bama - 4
LSU - 3
OSU - 3
Oklahoma - 3
Georgia - 2
Miami - 2
Florida - 0

Not very exciting.

I'm not as worried about the star average right now. We have three 3* kids. Two (Fraziers and Richardson) are borderline 4*s now, and likely to get bumped. Not to mention, these ratings will change significantly after the summer camp circuit. Griffis looks like the only dead weight in this class...so far. Also, not many 5* bump potential within the 4* group. Not disagreeing that he needs to do better, but rankings this early are unreliable. We could also see some of the 4* talent drop to 3*, just never know.

This guy is totally unranked, has ran for 3300yds and 70 TDs this season. He also runs a 4.6 40-yard dash that complements a 575-pound squat and a 420-pound bench press. He has no offers thus far:

That kid can't play RB for any power 5 conference. He's strong, smart and I am sure he's a great kid but he's just running over people and has enough speed for a Indiana HS player but if he were in Texas or Florida HS's no one would even now who he is. Sorry that's just how I see it.

He runs a 4.6. John Dunmore runs a 4.73.
