  • The 247Sports Crystal Ball is a way for industry experts to predict where top recruits eventually commit. The Florida Gators hold the majority of the predictions for several top recruits

Below is a look at the elite recruits industry experts feel the Gators are in good shape to land.

RB DEMARKCUS BOWMAN

Florida is battling Clemson and Georgia for Lakeland (Fla.) five-star running back Demarkcus Bowman, but the Gators look to be in good shape early.

RB KEYVONE LEE

Despite recently backing off his commitment to Florida, the Gators are still in the mix for Clearwater (Fla.) Superior Collegiate Academy four-star running back Keyvone Lee. Look out for LSU for the Sunshine State back though
.

ATH EJ SMITH

Despite being a Florida Gators legacy, Dallas (Texas) Jesuit all-purpose back EJ Smith is wide open with his recruitment. However, UF does have a majority of the predictions for Smith on the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

WR JA'KHI DOUGLAS

Florida was considered the leader for Houma (La.) Terrebonne four-star slot receiver Ja'Khi Douglas, but it appears the in-state LSU Tigers have started to push of late.

OL JOSHUA BRAUN

A host of schools, including Florida, Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina and others are chasing Live Oak (Fla.) Suwannee four-star offensive tackle Joshua Braun. The Gators currently holds the majority of the predictions for Braun.

QB ANTHONY RICHARDSON

Another former Florida commit that is still giving the Gators a look is Gainesville (Fla.) Eastside three-star quarterback Anthony Richardson. The Gators will get Richardson on campus soon, and UF has a majority of the predictions for his pledge still.

TE JONATHAN ODOM

Florida and a host of schools are chasing Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit tight end Jonathan Odom. This is another Gators legacy that many see picking UF in the end as well.

DE CHANTZ WILLIAMS

Florida and Georgia are battling for Orange Park (Fla.) Oakleaf four-star edge rusher Chantz Williams. Miami was the early leader, but now it's an SEC battle with some projecting UF at this time.

OL JALEN RIVERS

Like his teammate, Orange Park (Fla.) Oakleaf four-star offensive lineman Jalen Rivers looks to have Florida and Georgia atop his recruitment. Rivers was also high on Miami early, but the Canes now trail the two SEC programs.

WR XZAVIER HENDERSON

Miami (Fla.) Columbus four-star wide receiver Xzavier Henderson has an older brother that plays at UF, and many saw the Gators as the team to beat early in the process. Clemson has started to push for the younger Henderson, and a majority of the experts are now predicting the Tigers land his pledge.

We are just waiting for some high quality scraps.

That is our program now.

Or medium quality scraps.
