We gotta get to a McMil McMckUF McF V C Ker Welcome to GatorChatter
Nope, not biting...seen this thread before as well. I'll admit I'm a habitual lurker hungry for info so on here way more than I need to be. I'll reference my post. There's more to an organization than what you see on the field. Saban=Meyer>Mullen....keep going.....>the 2 last ambulatory train wrecks. Not putting Spurrier in that list. He's almost a mythical Unicorn at this point. Heisman winner, badass coach with an attitude and holds genuine home grown home team hate for all rivals....those don't come around often (ever for many).
Let’s hope. Seems like we’ve been saying this for the past few classes. This one has to be great. But yeah, hopefully a combination of change in staff, the upgrades and some on field momentum can swing things in ‘21. I’m still not of the opinion ‘20 is dead either. It’s just maddening for someone who’s been in financial services/sales an entire career to see people making this kind of money(below competitors’ average or not) and still being unable to close. I never played college football or have the slightest idea of how to recruit. But I guarantee I’d run circles around guys like English and Knox. I cut my teeth at an options desk for a no name firm, dialing D&Bs across NY/NJ. These guys have people coming to them and wanting to possibly attend and they still can’t handle it. Closing is closing and those guys should be working in the warehouse at Best Buy.
please, you spent the entire mac tenure downplaying recruiting significance and recruit rankings to justify mac's disaster of a tenure. why dont you wait for someone, anyone, on this board to say otherwise...
Still living in Fooley's world, no oversigning, just play w 10-15 less kids, is like being on PERMANENT probation. No major university does more to handicap its its football program. I would get it if perhaps we were broke, but it is ridiculous when we are still one of the highest grossing programs in the country.
Pretty sure AR has Mac's face tattooed on his ass cheek.
Yeah, you probably missed it, but Mullens is the coach now and it is his recruiting that is under discussion. Try to keep up.
And yet, here you are, pushing the same narrative, not to mention the recruiting so far has been eerily similar to mac. I know, I know... trust the coaches. Carry on.
So ... CDM roster will be a tad worse as the Butter stain gets washed out ... yet our blue chip ratio is going up? Is this a stars matter vs stars don't matter argument?
We are the worst fan base in the country...
GTFO Fans = Fanaticals What’s the alternative, we stop caring?....
So dumb. I frequent other boards and fans of every team mirrors ours. Pumpers trust the coaches and everything will be alright. Dumpers say the world is ending and mass firings are need to resolve it. Those in the middle are called naive by pumpers and dumpers.
247 drops Leonard Manuel to 707th in the country I’m done with that trash site
A few small differences, but not sure how much. Biggest difference is that Mullen alone is just waaayyy better in his OC role as anybody we had. But the 'unit's has sinilarities; mostly that all 3 have dead weight and were put together based on relationships more than resumes. I had the role of helping putting together a performance team for a pro sports organization. Brought in the top people in their respective fields and then consulted with 2 others for input on who would work well as a team. It's currently considered one of the top performance centers in the world and the core group is still intact. I know another major organization that wanted one person as their medical director and he brought his buddies. They suck and some of their athletes pay private people instead of the subpar free service. Guess which we resemble?
Fourth quarter Dullen is decent. He has finished 60th or worse something like 12 of his 15 years as playcaller. I guess that is better than the string of 100th ranked guys but no one calls him an offensive genius by any means. He's just a mediocre guy. First through Third quarter Dullen is basically Will Duncecap, just different versions of how to run the ball to control the clock and "try to tire out the defense".
I think he’s a really solid play caller during crunch time. I agree he’s usually pretty conservative earlier, but he has been pretty ballsy going for it on 4th a couple of times early in games this year.
Yep. Not great, but it's just easy to be better than 100+. Kinda like how people say what he did at msu is so good bc he was better than their version of butters. Other than that...is the staff not just buddies with half having no business being at UF? Are we more disciplined while we get personal fouls and suspend guys? I'm really curious to know what the differences are.

And yes, I love doing this to you. But also news flash folks: Swonkey makes up just about every last thing he believes in, and faking football stats is ahead of politics and religion for him
