Gators Set to Open Spring Practices on March 16 Gators Set to Open Spring Practices on March 16 - Florida Gators GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida will start its spring practice schedule on March 16, head coach Dan Mullen announced. A total of six practices will be open, including three to the public, one to season ticket holders and one for Alachua County First Responders/Law Enforcement and another for UF faculty/staff. Each open practice will be held at the Sanders Practice Fields. Fans will be able to view practices from the east and south sides of the outdoor Sanders Practice Fields. There will be bleachers set up on the east side of the field. UF spring practices will be open to the public on March 16, 22 and April 2 while season ticket holders can attend practice on March 31. Alachua County First Responders and Law Enforcement are invited on April 8, while UF Faculty/Staff can attend the practice on April 14. The 2020 Orange & Blue Game, presented by Sunniland, will be held in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. More details will follow regarding events surrounding the game. Entrance to Sanders Practice Facility: Fans can enter the main McKethan Stadium gate entrance and follow the sidewalk to enter the Sanders Practice Fields. However, for Tuesday, March 31 when the Gators baseball team takes on Stetson (6:00 p.m.) baseball fans will have their ticket scanned at the main gate and walk along the sidewalk into McKethan Stadium as normal. Meanwhile, football season ticket holder fans attending football practice will have to enter and exit Sanders via the north gate near SW 2nd Ave. For fans attending football practice that need to use the restroom, Gators Guest Service staff will be stationed at the exit of Sanders Practice Field to escort them over to the baseball's third base side restrooms in the concourse of McKethan Stadium. Parking: Parking will be available in the main Stephen C. O'Connell Center parking lot and garage.
