    I'm wondering ... how much of any recruiting depends mostly on the recruiter's "faith" in the worth of his HC's program - one he can pitch with full fledge honesty? What subconscious attitude seeps through that recruits become suspicious of? Our recruiting is failing, big-time.

      Recruiting is basically a sales job. The best salesman always make you feel like they truly believe in the product.

        This! 10x this. We weren't *****ing about Clemson and Bama in the 90s. Those programs are cyclical just like all the others. Saban won't coach there forever. Neither will Dabo. The last thing we need is more NCAA meddling.

        As for the NASCAR reference....how did the meddling by NASCAR turn out for the sport? Its circling the drain and gaining speed.

          First thing they could do is eliminate the QA coaches. Limit every school to their coaching staff and a couple admins. That’s it.

              Well, the playing field isn't level for UCF or USM or any other directional school. But it never would be.

              However, the only reason UF isn't competing is our AD.

                Pretty sure I’ve already said that about 3 times but the term “parody” might be over your head. In other words, they need to find a centralized rating platform (likely 247) and implement a team ratings cap...ya know, kinda how the NFL has a salary cap that doesn’t allow the league to turn into the MLB.

                Or you can keep *****ing and moaning for the next 10 years watching the same teams play in the championship blaming everyone and everything else!

                  The salary cap and the rating on a teams talent have two very different functions. The roster limits are more like a salary cap than what you are proposing.

                                About what? Still waiting on you to actually explain what is unfair about how those teams are getting all the talent. Everyone is waiting on pins and needles for you to explain how the system is rigged to keep Mullen down while it elevates Bama, Clemson, OSU, LSU, aTm and UGA. You keep b!tching and moaning about how unfair it is that those teams keep getting all the talent but you don't address why those teams are getting all the talent.

                                So. Why are those teams getting all the talent? Wouldn't that be the first step in validating a problem exists and then the course of action to correct?
