His comments about Florida making his top 5. That last point he makes...it hits home. Sigh.

Chicken or egg. I'd wager that once we sign a high profile recruit the collective will see an uptick. It's not exactly football season so a lot of fans are checked out too. Although a lot more can be done to get the word out I don't think we can afford to wait.
Some colllectives are signing deals and expecting to get the money later. But... and this really bothers me, for the size of UF we really don't seem to have a lot of very high profile alumni. People with 9 figure net worth's. Is it really that hard to find a $10 or $20M donor?
This fan base has been bitching about recruiting for over a decade. Time to do something about it.
UCF has a pretty large fan base too. And they are salivating to be thought of as a real football team. Would be shame for them to have a larger war chest.
Like NIL or not it is the be-all and end-all of football. The team with the largest payroll with have the most talent. If you're not contributing then you have no right to even complain.

We can all band together and put our pennies together and still wouldn't be able to touch what these schools have that are getting backed by billionaires. I didn't think it at first but it really wouldn't surprise me if ucf was able to start accumulating more talent than us. Tradition, location and conference doesn't mean shcit anymore. Recruiting ability and staffs ability to recruit and sell their vision is now obsolete. It's all about the money now.
