Are the Longhorns coming for Sully? Will he leverage their offer of bottomless oil wells to get a big raise to stay? Does Sully want to stay in Gvlle?

Thank you Scott Stricklin. Another rival has a natty in a major sport while we continue to circle the drain. I can’t wait until we go to Rocky Top and get embarrassed by 21+ this fall as well.

No other team has ever come after Sully and that’s certainly not going to change now.

Seeing report of Michael Robertson hitting the transfer portal.
Offensively he was a huge disappointment his entire career, with the exception of the tourneys this year where he was very good. Defensively he was good so I hope he can find a place that can help him with his bat. Also saw Philpott and Satin in the portal. If so I thought both of them showed a little promise. especially Philpott.

On our road trip to Raleigh last week, Mrs Fodderwing wanted to pass through the ATL to share a meal and visit with her friends and coworkers. We were expecting some decent Mexican at Frontera, but the group insisted on Longhorn. So I order a ribeye medium, the steak was cooked medium-ish, but dang it was as tough as grilled round steak.
Road Kill du jour.

If Tennessee wins the National Championship, they join a historic group.

After researching this, UCLA claims the 1954 Football National Championship but they were never really recognized as the Champions.

Also, Tennessee has never won in Basketball. I read that they have never been to a final four.

A little off topic:

Brookins, Gomberg and Philpott likely staying

The good news is that Brookins, Gomberg and Philpott will all likely stay with Florida. The portal movement is necessary as it allows the Gators to make scholarship changes, but they are all part of the plan for next year, according to sources close to the program.

Gomberg could have played the left-handed specialist role split between Frank Menendez and Satin this season, but he underwent Tommy John surgery after one appearance. He has a plus slider that will play at all levels, but we won’t see it again until at least the middle of next year.

Philpott was a major contributor in the Florida bullpen this season, throwing 30 innings. He ended the year with a 6.90 earned run average, but that number is inflated a bit by a string of bad outings. He should be a top option out of the bullpen once again next year for the Orange and Blue.

Brookins appeared in seven games for Florida as a true freshman, but he should play a much larger role next year. There’s a lot of optimism in Gainesville when it comes to his bat and he can play the outfield.

There are 3 or 4 ATM everyday players that are in the portal that are better than almost anything we have returning. Though I realize they may end up at Tex-A$$ I would hope that Sully is showing interests.

The restaurant crap was moved to the lounge. Another mention of it here gets you a vacation.

Do I even have mods?

LaViolette and Grahovac would be great additions.

Also, Jeff Kent's kid.
