Ending at 14th in 247. Mainly because we have a small class this year. We needed to fill in with portal kids to bring older kids. Young team.

By average we are 7th.

Nobody is bragging about us being 14th. @GatorJ is just letting us know one of our players got bumped up. That's worth celebrating IMO.
That bump results in our ranking and is a byproduct. He was just being thorough.

I agree Smith is a solid prospect.

And he is from Florida. That still matters to me.

He’s enrolled. Think he’s been on campus for like a month, so no real fanfare. Basically just became like a ESD signer from what I understand.

“D’Antre is the same way grew up a Gator kind of a unique dynamic with the defensive line coach felt like we were really close the first time, and then able to get him back, 6-3, 315 pounds, lean, twitchy, could play on all three downs. I think he’s got good things in front of him and a lot of work to do.”

They rank the portal class too though, and we desperately needed help there as well(if you place value on the actual number). They were both great pickups at the end. Their designation isn’t so important, but I get that it would’ve been nice to finish at least top-10.

he's transfer portal isnt he? if so he doesn't sign on signing day. Didnt he sign with another team, Texas?
