Softball season begins tonight with the Gators hosting the UNF Ospreys.

3 run blast for Taylor Shoemaker in her second at bat. First at bat was nearly over, but the UNF outfielder made a great catch to keep it in the park.

Reagan Walsh added a 2 run homerun in the 4th. Gators up 8-0. Just need a scoreless top of the 5th to put this one in the books.

3 up 3 down in the top of the 5th = a run rule win to open the season.

Gators have won 3 games at the USF tournament. Those wins include a 13 to 1 run rule shellacking of Meatchicken today.

Double header today. Gators beat GA Southern 4 to 0 in the first game.

Game 2 vs USF is at 230 pm on ESPN+ / Hulu sports.

We like it too. Gonna take my wife and son to several games this season when can squeeze em in between his games. Great product, great venue and very affordable. Not a bad seat in that stadium.

Gators run ruled the Bulls in a quick 5 innings. Great start to the season.

Next game Tuesday vs Jacksonville on SEC+.

Gators run ruled Jacksonville 10 to 1 in 5 innings on Tuesday.

Gators are taking Stetson to task tonight on SECN+ with a stolen base for a run. Followed by two 2 run HE'S to take a 5 to 0 lead in the bottom of the first.

Done deal, 11 to 0 Gators over Hatters in 4.5 innings.

Boston College tested the Gators. But the Gators prevailed 12 to 7.

Was at the game, not dominating, but never felt like the girls were going to lose. Shortstop is nowhere what we are used too defensively. Good thing is there are hitters top to bottom, all swing the bat well.

The ladies beat Providence 5 to 0.

Then run ruled a good, 14th ranked Duke squad 9 to 0 in 4.5 innings.
