I’ve never seen the media push so hard for a sport like they do for women’s college basketball. Well, other than the women’s national soccer team. I’ll bet they’ve gained dozens of fans with that multimillion dollar marketing campaign.

Wonder if he’s been academically cleared?
To verbally commit as a Jr in high in school?

According to Corey Bender from on3 the staff liked and felt really good about where they stood with Hylton Stubb's and like clock work he committed to USC mere hours after they rejected the Lakeland kids commitment. Evidently they had a couple of kids higher on their board and his offer wasn't really "commitable" and all of Billy's army forgot to inform him until after he attempted to commit.

What's really ****ty is about half a dozen crystal balls came in for the kid towards the end of last week for Florida so everyone knew he was about to commit so it wasn't a surprise to Napier. Slingblade said fuch it, he doesn't need kids from Polk County anyways he's got Scotland.

Has to be on the kid, or his parents, or coach. This staff is way too detail oriented and buttoned up.

The idea about "committable" offer is that his commit was taken by USC who we equal in national rankings. So while he may not be qualified at the moment, USC took the commit and will likely help him qualify, guide him. I don't trust anything that doesn't smell right with this staff.

Here’s an excellent article on recruiting, how to look at stars & rankings.

It shows numerically how our recruiting has been sub-par since 2011, despite actually doing much better than average in talent evaluation.

The numbers never lie and they are very consistent over a long period of time.

Howvever, people celebrating classes full of 300th-450th ranked "4 stars" (thank you grade inflation clickbait) sure do, even if it's only lying to themselves.
