It’s so weird too. Sale completely fails at his job all last season and spends the final days before NSD taking PWO’s, then doesn’t lose his job. And now appears to be completely content to do the same thing all over again. If I didn’t know any better I’d almost say keeping him may have sent the wrong message.

Let me first say, I love the momentum and good news we’ve been getting. Good for Napier. That said, how are we, in year three, having to flip Florida kids, in the ‘26 class(reclassified or not)? How did we let them get away in the first place so far in advance?
Whatever. Maybe I’m just grouchy this morning. I’ll take it.

If the staff can reel off 8 wins this season they will be back in business- credible.
No idea what to make of Sale. Is he really even a legit offensive coordinator? Billy's a low expectation boss in a high expectation environment.

So two Oline coaches cant bring in recruits? We need another person just to recruit. Problem is the coaches dont seem to be coaching either. Should we hire another?

2026 kid. Need some LBs this class. The guy we "stole" from Alabama was one of 6 LBs they had committed at the time.

As for the 2025 class this staff is all in on Boateng and Ty Jackson. Ty is ranked 199 on 247 but he’s the ranked #25 overall and the #1 LB on on3.

Not sure if it applies to this kid in particular, but I expect all the bigger schools to see this more moving forward. The reason is the transfer portal. Schools in the Syracuse-level realm (where this LB is committed) are relying far more heavily on portal. So, they can justifiably tell kids get your spot or you won't have one. The better schools and guys who know from freshman on that they are 4 stars are exceptions and can choose later. Everyone else has been expedited due to shrinking classes (and the early signing day too).
It will be interesting if this alleviates some if scholarship rosters get expanded.
