UF
Recruiting coordinator. Gives him time to recover from surgery.
No man.....

Just no.

What is he going to do? Move his Bobby Bowden shrine from Columbus to Gainesville?

You said women twice.
Youre not more concerned about British cars? Who the fvkk buys a British car? (Or Italian)

That is like marrying a stripper. It might look good from a distance but nothing good is going to come of this.

There is no chance he doesn't go to ND. That cupcake schedule is simply too appealing.

There'll be a lot of interest in Meyer by ND and a lot of pressure on Kelly with Urbs looking over his shoulder.

Remember, this guy's a psych major.

Yep, just like he did when he "retired from UF". But I don't believe for a second he's done. He'll stay "retired" for a year or two then be right back in it. Chump will be fired and SC will hire Meyer, they seem to have an affinity for former gator coaches.
I can see that, since it looks as if Brian Kelly will be at Notre Dame a while longer.

I suspect that his real health issues will keep him (if he has a brain) out of coaching and other stressful work. He has plenty of money and perhaps should focus on his family, not a job. It would be great if he worked for charity.

Let me be the first to throw out the ridiculous what-if question.

What if Mullen bombed over the next two to three seasons?

What if Meyer discovered Extra Strength Tylenol?

What if Bernie Machen decided to accept the emeritus AD position?

What if you were asked to hold your nose and open your heart just one more time?

Would you accept Urbie as Champion again?

I guess you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

This is where UF starts to soar high again. Urban gone. FSU in the dumper. UGA coached by Richt 2.0. Bama can't decide on a QB. Fans running Dabo off to the NFL. This is OUR time to RISE again! Go Gators!!

Okay, so we're back to the UF argument. Urban went 82-9 at OSU (54-4 in the conference) won several conference titles, a national title, and won all 7 times against rival Michigan. He'll end his tenure with a top-10 recruiting class and a Rose Bowl victory.

Do you think OSU fans will take that? Was it worth it?

The funny part is they are going to be a bunch of jilted lovers, too. Some of you will be able to commiserate with those Bucknut fans on how bad they had it with Urban Meyer.

P.S. - The streak against Michigan ends next year. This new coach is going to be a disaster.
If their program tanks while he miraculously recovers from his “health problems” and starts coaching another team, they have every right to be pissed.

What a head case. Pun intended.

BTW, has anyone mentioned just what a terrible analyst he was at ESPN? Dull, lifeless and not that insightful.

Myer's made to do one thing, coach football. Not be the social worker he always claimed to be, not be the pious Catholic he claimed to be, not be the beacon of righteousness he claimed to be, not be the engaged and doting father he claimed to be and the guiding light of how men should treat women that he claimed to be. He failed miserably at all those things. Nope, he's made to do one thing and he does that with laser focus. It'll be interesting to see how he copes without all the stress.

this is why he will be coaching in the next 2 to 3 years. He is hardwired that way.

OSU can't really tank. They have a monopoly on that entire recruiting area.

There's no way anyone can really think Meyer is done being a head coach for the rest of this life. He'd go berserk. Guys like him can't stay away.

I'd like to see him take a smaller school and turn them around, make them contenders.

Mixed feelings but mostly I think this is good for the Gator's.
