They are bringing back that POS coordinator they ran out of town last time?

Broken record mode here, but wow do I not miss the days of having a DC running things and constantly searching for a compatible OC who wants to “run the ball and shorten the game, aight”.
I can’t even bring myself to check out volnation. I’m too embarrassed for them.

This is great news! Georgia is having to deal with serious turnover in their assistant ranks relatively early in Kirby’s tenure. We’ve seen how that can hamper a program. This is just one more thing that will eat into Kirby’s time and hopefully have a negative impact on their program and recruiting. Losing both coordinators in the span of a month, with one bailing out late in the hiring season, is good news for us.
Not saying it may not be true but it makes no sense whatsoever. He is not such a big name in the football world as to step into a job of that stature.
Chaney had a three year contract that ended after the 2018 season. Apparantly Georgia had an option and declined. Chaney was technically unemployed so it makes sense that he took another job.
Honestly, every time I see Georgia play I'm astounded at how pedestrian their offense is for a team that is loaded, two and three deep, with players we were drooling over. I guess Tennessee gets to toil under that mediocre yoke for awhile now.
Heard on the radio while driving home that the Dwags had the option of matching the Voles offer, but declined. Kirby is likely to promote from within for both OC and DC because he won’t change his offensive or defensive philosophy. He’s an elite recruiting Mushchump.
