Let me start off by saying I was firmly entrenched in support of Mullen. However, with the three episodes this year that Cousin Eddie has had, that has changed.First the whining at ATM, then the fight with Missoula and finally defending POS Wilson. Mullen needs to grow some

Some of you guys are fccking nuts. You really think Grantham is calling a man press and watching his DBs line up 12 yards deep and let them do it every play?
This appears to be his answer to third and Grantham. Now it's Slant and Grantham.
I can't even believe it. It baffles me that you people think that they're out there ad libbing instead of running whatever Grantham called.-

Ask yourself the following question, would any of those 4 coaches, if presented with the wilson problem on their watch under the same circumstances, do nothing during the game, make excuses for him after, then trot him out as team captain the following week against the top team in the country?
The player's can say what they want, if you start letting them dictate the way it is, you have failed as an HC.-

I used to be a big Gator basketball fan, but now I’m completely apathetic. Until Mike White is gone, I couldn’t care less about Gator hoops. Sadly, football is heading that same way.

Don't like it, and still hope this is just coach speak. But if there's a silver lining it's that after year 4 will be too late to try and make that change. Really, even after this season, would be very late given Grantham's reception from the outset. So if somehow we can improve into at least a functioning unit(like it was in ('18-'19), maybe we're ok. If the other scenario happens, which is much more likely, then I think Law is correct that Mullen's probably safe in '21 but coaching for his job in '22, new DC or not.
As I've said many times, I can't imagine having to tell my family that we're moving(again) and losing the best job our family likely will ever get, all because I couldn't bring myself to fire someone who no one likes, and who has interviewed for other jobs in each of his first two offseasons here. There's loyalty and then there's career suicide.-

To me this is where Mullen either is the guy or not. Grantham has to be addressed. He has to critically look at his coaching staff and assess where they have fallen short. It's hard, I know, especially since he has known him for awhile, but damn, this defense this year has been so unprepared.
