I hear they're building a concrete pond. Not nearly as much as we are suffering from overpaying Head Coaches of late. For 12 years now we’ve needed a knockout hire. Instead we’ve gotten the equivalent of Milburn Drysdale hiring Sonny to oversee the Clampett fortune. We’ve been going back to Bugtussle ever since. I’m looking for Coach Napier to turn the truck back around and head back towards Beverly Hills.
Your numbers were a bit off, though. The difference was $1,892,000.00, distributed among 10 coaches. So on average Bama is paying their assistants $189,200.00 more per person than us. You don't think that's a significant difference?Really, it's not hard to look at the numbers and see UF seems to be willing to pay similar to the top program even thouh this thread has about ten pages whining about how cheap we are. This does not seem to reflect that POV.
It's cement pond, pronounced SEE-ment.I hear they're building a concrete pond.
You'll get your concrete pond and be happy about it!It's cement pond, pronounced SEE-ment.
I don't know what's more depressing....the point you just made or the fact i know exactly who you are talking about in your analysis using Milburn Drysdale and Sonny....Not nearly as much as we are suffering from overpaying Head Coaches of late. You shouldn't be that depressed, unless you know about it from watching the original network broadcasts as opposed to the syndicated after-school re-runs on UHF.I don't know what's more depressing....the point you just made or the fact i know exactly who you are talking about in your analysis using Milburn Drysdale and Sonny....
In what universe are you speaking of?Everyone's mad at Donkey, and it's a shame because he is usually universally beloved.
How many I got?According to my dashboard, 37 members have you on ignore.
If you start wonder what’s taking Ox so long to respond, well, that’s a clue. How many I got?
The pretend one that I live in.In what universe are you speaking of?
So we pay 25% less than Bamma for the coaches. Not trying to rag on you at all, that is good information that you brought to the board.
But since you ask, I would've arranged the list like this:
$1.8 million (2021) - DC/OLB Todd Grantham // $1.5M- DC Pete Golding
$630,000 (2021) - RGC/OL John Hevesy // $757k- OL Doug Marrone
$630,000 (2021) - PGC/WR Billy Gonzales // $575k WR Holman Wiggens
$495,000 (2021) - AHC/TE Tim Brewster // ($750k) ST/TE Drew Svoboda
$495,000 (2021) - ST/RB Greg Knox // $535k- RB Robert Gillespie
$475,000 (2021) - DL David Turner // $700k DL Freddie Roach
$460,000 (2022) - S Wesley McGriff // $800k- S Charles Kelly
$400,000 (2022) - QB Garrick McGee // $1.1M- OC Bill O'Brien
$400,000 (2022) - LB Christian Robinson // $695k LB Sal Suneri
$260,000 (2022) - CB Jules Montinar // $525k- CB Jay Valai
I added Bama ST/TE coach Drew Svoboda because you didn’t have an equivalent to Tim Brewster on your list, but his 2021 $750k salary is in parenthesis because I couldn’t find it, so I used the 2020 salary of the coach he replaced, Jeff Banks.
If my math is correct, which I will caution you that it rarely is, that brings the combined totals to $6,045,000.00 UF vs. $7,937,000.00 Bama.
Ellie May ...You shouldn't be that depressed, unless you know about it from watching the original network broadcasts as opposed to the syndicated after-school re-runs on UHF.
Ahh who the Fuchs am I kidding, that's become embarrassing, too. :(
I’d say paying $2 million less is not actually “competitive” but, whatevs…
It's "see-ment" pond... get it RIGHT!I hear they're building a concrete pond.
damn it!It's cement pond, pronounced SEE-ment.
Ellie May told me otherwise. It's "see-ment" pond... get it RIGHT!
I'd forgotten about "Bugtussle"I don't know what's more depressing....the point you just made or the fact i know exactly who you are talking about in your analysis using Milburn Drysdale and Sonny....
