Too soon?
I was prepared to rip into who ever posted this but It's funny as hell.
Too soon?
you realize everyone on this board thinks you're an idiot right?I could sleep walk thru every thread and contribute more than you, but stay the course it suits you perfectly.
i thought it was all about poor AD's ........ long time no see, ferg.......If Napier can do the unthinkable and pull a DJ Lagway, we might have that...it's no coincidence the fall of Florida can be traced back to bad QB play....
I knew it. It was what I feared but expected. The key to the loss is his admission at the 2:20 mark that he is a QB and was going to pass more(the NFL scouts were at the game).Anthony Richardson Postgame 9-10-22

At least we now know what really happened. Better than hungover as some speculated.I knew it. It was what I feared but expected.
Post #200 @LagoonGator68Maybe this has already been mentioned but they kept saying there were more than 20 NFL Scouts there. Maybe that got to AR and he either got cocky or nervous. He seemed to be forcing everything and not being relaxed.
I'm not ready to call him a head case yet. Lets see how he responds, if he starts doing subway commercials then it's over.Just once I'd like to not have a headcase at QB.
Trask was as cool as the other side of the pillow. No head case. Even had the stats to prove it. Of course, he did have two first round draft-picks to throw 2 (Toney and Pitts).Just once I'd like to not have a headcase at QB.
And not nearly the hype.Trask was as cool as the other side of the pillow. No head case. Even had the stats to prove it. Of course, he did have two first round draft-picks to throw 2 (Toney and Pitts).
Good point. Trask was indeed a cool, level headed QB.Trask was as cool as the other side of the pillow. No head case. Even had the stats to prove it. Of course, he did have two first round draft-picks to throw 2 (Toney and Pitts).
It was nice to see AR not making excuses and owning it. He seems like good kid, a mature kid. The question will be is this an outlier or is this the norm?
More importantly, Timmy could make that promise because he had the Pouncey’s, Trautwein, C. Johnson, and Watkins protecting him, with Harvin. Hernandez and Murphy and Cooper stretching defenses….and on D there was Cohen, Howard, Dunlap, Spikes, Doe, McCray, Black, Jenkins, and Haden. I’m probably leaving some great out!Timmy had a LOT more starts under his belt with continuity within the staff and scheme. His ability to accurately assess where he was and where he needed to be was way different.
If AR took that same approach, how much would be false bravado? Can't say for sure about that, however a 20 yr old with the humility to admit he's got a lot of growing up to do has the proper attitude. I just hope his confidence hasn't been shaken more than necessary. It's way too early to think that's gonna be an ongoing problem, but we'll see as the season progresses. I'm still optimistic that he'll use this as a learning opportunity.
He had a heck of a season the one year he was the starter. We likely would have been competing for championship if not for Grantham. Grantham and Dan butt-fuched Trask out of an opportunity for glory.Good point. Trask was indeed a cool, level headed QB.
Pretty sure Cohen was gone by then , but…carry on.More importantly, Timmy could make that promise because he had the Pouncey’s, Trautwein, C. Johnson, and Watkins protecting him, with Harvin. That’s not what AR has to work with cause of dufus Dan?!?!
