UT Austin and aTm have so much money from oil endowments, the NIL will allow them to buy any athelete they want. I know they can't use that money for NIL contracts but the underlying endowers are not going to be stingy with the contracts.

He truly is Gator Bait and we definitely did not want him anyway.

I watched 3 of his games and was impressed w/his grit and talent but not overly so.

If he has the DNA of a Manning then he will be football smart, mildly talented and definitely slow.

Gator Bait!
Earliest possibility of us seeing him in anything other than a bowl/CFP game would be if he sticks around for his senior year in 2025, when Texas starts playing in the SEC. But that does seem to be the family tradition, so maybe we will.

EDIT: Wrong. Bad math. 2025 will he his junior year, not senior year, and that's assuming he doesn't redshirt. Thanks @Spurffelbow833

Although it was nice that CBN got a highly rated player to look at UF. But somewhat knew he would not come to UF. He may or may not get any SEC play depending on if he in fact stays into 2025. We'll see what he's got and if he does make it to 2025 in the SEC he'll be in for a rude awakening with the defenses.

BTW, has anyone noticed or verified if he has an elongated forehead? Just wondering. He may be covering it up with the long hair.

Officially, Gator Bait.

I'm not bothered by this because I'm sure it annoys the Tenn and Ole Miss fans who thought they'd land him.

Arch still has his senior season of high school to play. He'll be a true junior in 2025, so he will have to still be at Texas.

Maybe we get his ass in the SWAMP and get the Manning happy feet a flopping

So he’s casting his lot with a drunk, drugged out head coach & staff that was nearly fired less than a year on the job.

That doesn’t seem like a recipe for his successful development. Maybe Arch isn’t as bright as people believe.

Maybe they paying him 10 million
HillBilly’s set the bar at 8 million for a QB , I’m guessing Texas oil money just set a new high.

He could have gone to a different big name program with a much better coaching staff and gotten comparable money. Maybe not the same $, but close enough, knowing that the real payday for him is being the #1 pick in the NFL draft in 3 years. That’s where the real money is (assuming he’s all they claim) and there are many other programs that will put him in a much better position to succeed that OxyContin Sark and Texas.

I doubt NIL had little to do with it since that abortion of a family are all millionaires a few times over. The Mannings have never done anything of relevance on the college level, and Arch will follow that great tradition.

That being said, there is never a bad time to drop this little gem into a thread (I still LOVE how the crowd hits another decibel level when Tony gets to around midfield)...
