This is why I loathe baseball sometimes...we finish an 8-2 west coast trip just to come home and get shelled by the last place Cardinals
Trust me, it can be worse. You ought to try enduring the Braves getting shelled by the last place Cardinals while being a fan of the most dominant college football team over the last 16 seasons. I readily admit to being spoiled to winning. Then to watch the Braves lose games they shouldn't, it hurts, it hurts bad man!

Lucky you....being a Gators and Jags fan, I have had to endure mostly miserable seasons the last few years so this Braves run has come at a perfect time

Another offensive explosion tonight for the ATL vs the bucs. Acuna has got to be the hands down MVP at this point, 2 homers last night and another tonight. Batting .334 with 35 HR and 90 RBI...its his to lose..

Magic number is already in single digits. :eek3:

It would be some sweet justice to clinch on the Phillies field considering how last season ended....as far as MVP, it's going to be interesting to see unfold....Mookie actually leads in more categories so it will be interesting to see how the voters vote

I'm sure this is how mariners fans felt when their team won 119 games...let's see how the playoffs go

Braves take 3 out of 4 from the Phils on the road to clinch their 6th straight NL East title. 16 games left in the season.

All eyes going to be on baltimore for the next 4 games. Unlike the NL east this year, the AL east has more than one contender. Rays 2 games out with a four game series. 91 wins vs 90 wins. Doesnt get better than that for september baseball. Though the AL west will be fun too.

The Braves also have won more "division" titles than any other team in MLB. At least that is what the Braves' commentators said last night...

They already have two....one in the Maddux era and one a couple years ago. Unless I misunderstand the constraints here.

That's my bad. I actually forgot about the most recent one - brain fart - and was only thinking of the one from the Glavine/Maddux/Smoltz era.

So, like winning the SEC East title?
Ha. Winning the NL East these days is more like winning the ACC in 2008. Although this year is more impressive because you don't play 19 games against division foes. So no 19 games vs marlins, Nats, mets
