Read about this story the other day but I guess they fired the coach today. Still have not said how he was involved if at all. Bet was made on LSU so did he send up a PH who was blind or something to lose on purpose?

This kind of thing usually involves the mob, so if Bohannanon was directly involved in the fixing he may have other problems that pale in comparison to losing his job. The Cleveland mob, in particular, can be notoriously "unsympathetic."

Coach Bo didn't have to fix any games. The baseball team is bad enough without that...

Reckon it was an opportunity to fire for cause and skip the balance of his contract?
Yep. They have a good, smart AD - who we tried to hire but did not consider us at the time because Foley would not truly walk away and relinquish control over his minions still in the building.

It seems the coach bet on his team to lose.

They should expand their probe to include bama’s football and basketball programs… And ugaly football, just to be thorough.

This is a fascinating story when considering the the technology used to track the bets and garner the video. The gambling IRS is watching everything.
