Thanks for the great forum I expect to reap the benefits of my donation...whatever that means
It just means Ox drinks for free the next few days.
It means more Zima for Ox? Well at least I can say I contributed
For you clowns on the fence, it's the last day to get the discounted membership. Quit screwing around. Oh, and for the people who are already members, there is no rule against you making a donation. Christmas season, and all that. No rule at all.
You’ve been so mean lately, I refuse to donate. Besides, where’s the friggin podcast?!
Fair enough. Not enough people were listening to make it worth the time.
All kidding aside, I really enjoyed listening to them on the commute to work in the mornings. Need to see if you can get some “insiders” to participate next season.
They would probably do a lot better if someone other than me was doing them. If anyone out there thinks they would be worth a damn at them, go ahead and give them a whirl and I'll be happy to feature them on this site. I'm offering you your big break.
Cover2 gets my vote. Truth a close second.
Being able to type articles doesn't mean you can do audio podcasts. It's much harder than you'd think.
You’re selling yourself short. They were pretty good. I get that you weren’t getting enough followers, but sometimes it takes time. Now, if it wasn’t worth your time, that’s understandable.
Takes time? GBM, I had been doing those off and on since 2013.
I know (I lurked long before I joined), but you stopped for a long time. Truth be told, I’m prolly being selfish here. I enjoyed them and want them back.
I'll do them for you personally - $250 per episode.
I’m flush with Oxbucks!
Somehow I knew that was where this was going to end up.
I liked them. Spurred fun conversation in the threads. Thought you could’ve invited a poster on each week to spice it up. Would’ve donated good money to hear @Jbossgator8.
The podcasts were great and I know you put a lot of work into them. It’s demotivating when you don’t feel you are getting the return on your investment of your time. That said, you were far too inconsistent with them. You did one for Miami and then one for Kentucky and that’s it. You have to be consistent and dedicated to it regularly. It’s tough, I know. My wife and I do regular birdies for our business. I have to edit, cut, retake and so on. I hate it, but she keeps us to it regularly.
You can produce, write and edit the podcasts but hire some top talent (gigidy) for the on screen stuff.
You don't have the necessary permissions to use the chat.
