That's tough but he made the correct decision.
May God help her.

On another note, I think we now understand why he's been absent on making changes to the Ath Dept or football pgm.

Without getting to political. I think 9 people are about to get honorary doctorates depending on this hire.
Also, perhaps the best thing to happen to SS and BN since some reported, like IAKOW, that Sasse did give a wins minimum and it is known he cared about football. Plus, you would let the new President possibly make those changes. On the flip side, that trigger becomes easier for a new guy if he/she comes in around Oct-Dec and there's a heat in the air. Everything to keep track of.

It's the right decision for him and his family...

Also gives a stay of execution for both Stricklin and Napier. It was known even during last season that once Sasse had other issues cleaned up that his next focus would be the athletic program specifically football, and he wanted a winner.

So much for the culture change and business center he was working on. I'm sure they learned their lesson and will get another ivy azzhole like Fuchs to replace him. Was fun while it lasted.

Tough news for him and his family. Awful news for us.

Crazy to think he has a legacy in such a short period of time, but what he did in keeping things together during the Gaza nonsense—notably allowing seniors to have their moments not stolen from them due to lunatics. I hope those students are forever grateful for that and I wish him well.

I’m also almost certain our athletic situation is about to get worse.

He's making the right choice, money comes and goes but you never get time back. Hope his family gets through these tough times and his wife soldiers on. She sounds like a fighter.

Damn, That's a huge loss for UF.
I had hopes, with his background, of some big moves in the Athletic Program, especially football.
But, that's me being selfish.

He made the right choice here. I have a very close friend of over 40 years that recently had a brain aneurism. She's lucky to be alive and has spent two years trying to get back to where she was. Awful.

For Ben, Having a 13 year old in the house changes things dramatically too.
I can only offer prayers and good will to Mr Sasse. Was hoping for a longer tenure.

God bless sir.
