If you aren't familiar with Scary Pockets, they take any song and make it a funk song. They upload all their videos to their youtube chanel.

Here is Uptown Girl, which is one of their best. Mario is one of their regular guest singers and can belt it.

But, this one with Rozzi doing Ariana Grande is fantastic

Weezer did a wonderful cover of Africa, so Toto paid them respect and did Hash Pipe live. This was awesome.

OK. One more. RIP Taylor, who was amazing in this.

Foo Fighters decided to do Bee Gee covers, because they can. They named the band the Dee Gees

Shadow Dancing is ridiculous

Davy was a kid when he heard this on the radio in the car w/ his father, and that is when he learned what he wanted to be when he grew up. I'm going to see him this weekend.

The reason this is a great cover is because it's done at a backyard graduation party(for the girl playing flute). These are all just friends having a great time. One of the guys used to be in the group Ambrosia, one was in Pure Prairie League, and one played as a fill-in touring with various bands(Fleetwood Mac, etc) years back. This is the kind of backyard party we should all have.:fistbump:

Davy is on his first acoustic solo tour. He just played two nights at The Iridium in NYC. I'm very jealous of my two friends that were there. One lives on Long Island and she is a Billy Joel fan so this was a cool surprise.

Mike is playing next Sunday in Sanford. He has a new album coming out in Feb. co-produced by Joe Bonamassa. Recorded at Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, Ca. following the loss of his wife to pancreatic cancer.

Life Is Hard is a complete work of art for me,” says Mike Zito about the new disc. “I believe this is the best album I’ve ever made in my life. My wife Laura and I planned this idea of pouring my heart out in music after her death from cancer. Joe, Josh and the incredible musicians were fully aware of the task at hand. They brought a lot of emotion to the music. I am so proud of this album and I know Laura would be proud as well.”
The even-dozen tracks on Life Is Hard include not only several Mike Zito originals, but also his takes on a wide variety of blues songs written by such contemporaries as Tinsley Ellis, Walter Trout, Tab Benoit and Fred James. Sprinkled in are covers from a diverse assortment of blues/roots music icons, including Little Milton (“Lonely Man”), Stevie Wonder (“Have a Talk with God”) and Reverend Gary Davis (“Death Don’t Have No Mercy”), plus the outside-the-box blues-worthy rendering of the Guess Who classic, “These Eyes.”
