2. Miami has a tough front so I thought the OL acquitted itself quite well. The pass protection was ok and the run plays did not get blown up in the backfield. I think the staff felt as described on this site that the Miami weakness was their safeties and tried to attack that rather than run.
In one bullet point you so hit the mark and miss it. Miami’s front 7 is legit and one of the best 3-4 we will face. They had 3-4 top 2 round nfl players I those 7 guys and maybe more who will at least be drafted. But, we didn’t attack the safeties much at all so many swing passes and screens. Very little attempts to push downfield and across the middle.
