If he kicked rocks he'd be out for next season, too. He's one of those guys that can roll out of bed tomorrow and miss the season injured.

Sorry, no. I was in Medellin Colombia for a couple of weeks banging hot, of-age, beautiful young ladies, so bitching about your all time favorite coach didn't seem necessary. But now that we are winning and nothing to whine about, it seems a reasonable course.

We’ve looked like jello pudding for years and in the past few weeks we have started knocking the absolute crap out of people to the point that they don’t want any more smoke by the fourth quarter.

Did guys just get tired of sucking? From whence cometh this mean streak? Is this the power of the DJL aura made manifest? Billy is still doing Billy things on the sideline so what gives?

It's a bit of a mystery. A light went on. The narrative has been that the players hate Billy and the staff, but I can't imagine a team playing this hard if that was true.

I’m still enjoying the game. This team has one more business to take care of and I really want to see them demolish the F$U. I don’t think BN will be the HC after the next season as the next season will be much tougher than this season.

1) We’ll be facing the same SEC opponents next year. Can BN get a win at Baton Rouge and Oxford?

2) If the wins later this season indicate real "improvement," can this team make another improvement to beat Toothless, Georgia, and Texas next season?

3) As Lagway saved BN, recruiting elite prospects is key, but right now, our recruiting class doesn't make any sense to compete to play with other SEC opponents.

4) Relying too heavily on the transfer portal doesn’t seem sustainable, especially given the struggles of teams like F$U and Ole Miss.

5) We technically have three OC on staff already. Hiring another OC doesn’t automatically help BN. If BN hires a true OC, will he be willing to relinquish control of the playbook and play calling?

Everyone is going to have to rely on the portal. That and keep your core players out of it.

These guys know who the better players are, even if the coach doesn't play them.
DM had the same problem playing Franks over Trask.
Put the best on the field and the whole team responds, the 2s, 3s and 4s will raise their effort and play. We're seeing the results.
