Great post as always @cover2 , I just really enjoy your writing and perspective.

I just want to add a few thoughts. What we are witnessing in UF college history is the worst coaching since the 30's. No one alive has witnessed this much losing before Billy arrived. It's comically bad.

Also, Ox is going to ban you when Billy goes 10-2.

Billy Napier is the football equivalent of hapless Union General Burnside. The only difference is that Burnside knew that he was unfit for high command and accepted the post reluctantly.
This is our Fredericksburg and Mud March.

Still waiting for Billy to cross Antietam. Thus far he’s better resembled Custer than Ambrose Burnside.

I simply find it amazing that our lines of scrimmage have found ways to descend to sub SEC levels of play with three years of ostensibly , college level coaching. I also find it amazing that every single opposing coaching staff seems to know exactly what Billy is doing While Billy in fact has no idea what he’s doing.
THIS in a nutshell is where we have descended.

Since our best defensive play is a dropped pass and our offense excels in punts, we reached the pinnacle of our game against the ag boys. I especially liked the way we ran into the heart of their defensive line; watching MJ scorch them with a game high 2-yard run, gave me confidence that CBN was just setting them up. I think I'll just go back to Slug's posts in the paid member's saloon and catch up to the real plays!

* There was an X post in the box that declared we have an offensive and defensive coordinator, both of whom are making $1 million (+), and NEITHER are making any play calls in the game! This has got to historical…or hysterical if you’re an opponent!
This is a great paragraph. Not just for its content but for delivery.

I honestly thought that by definition an OC and/or a DC called the plays unless that head coach has that duty.

Unacceptable.
