Haven't heard his name called a lot in the last 2 games. Is he drawing a double team often? Anyone else notice this? I know he was/is highly heralded as a run stopper inside. This kid, along w those on the defensive line of scrimmage are going to need to have the game of their life on Saturday. Probably will contribute as much or more to the outcome than anything the offense does- or doesn't

That's exactly it...he is supposed to set the edge and provide strong run support or he moves inside to DT on some passing downs. He won't ever fill out a stat sheet or consistently get the praise that Fowler does.

Bullard has been a five star bust. He doesn't get double teamed. He never touches the quarterback. He doesn't set the edge on the run. Face it, he's an average player at best. Mediocre is a better description. What's sad is that there is no one good enough to put him on the bench. The hype about McAllister and Bryan Cox Jr. during the preseason is just the same B.S. No, Bullard has never been good, and it looks like he still sucks.

Our pass rush needs to improve that's for sure. I wouldn't call Bullard a bust by any means....but he's certainly not a star. I'd like to see him step up his game that's for sure....

Cox has played well...not spectacular. He's still young and developing...and the season is 2 games old.

yep major troll alert...could have maybe at least not put Mcallister on there seeing as they don't even play the same position.

He's been real solid in run defense and he's been getting up field. Even law will agree Bullard is solid

He doesn't deserve the GCMB logo.

And it's hilarious

Bullard and Brantley have been our monsters against the run.

I know chicks dig sacks and the long ball but if we had four Bullards on the line we'd be in great shape. If we had four Fowlers, we'd get killed on run plays. Think Ray Mac and notice he is still in the NFL while most of our thin DEs like Moss and Harvey are not.

I agree the run d has been great to this point against weak competition. We're about to be tested and then some. Would have liked to seen more interior pass rush against the weak sisters of the last 2 weeks without Fowler in the middle stacking the box.

:lmao: and Ox comes through again! Great Avi!

The announcers are so fixated on Fowler you don't hear much about the rest of them. I guess we will see how good the run defense is tomorrow.

Brantley and Cummings both slipped past their guy multiple times against UK when they weren't being doubled. Most of the time they were doubled on pass however.

I think its cool now that black coaches like Tomlin can become retreads like the old days. Used to be they would hire an old coach over and over before a Tomlin got a chance..............Does Cignetti get some attention by the NFL. Anyone watching the Oklahoma game tonight
