        I question why her or any congressperson's name should be on a building anyhow. I think traditionally if you worked to get the money (somewhat corruption) your name got on the building you helped to fund. That is somewhat corrupt, names on buildings should be if you personally funded it, or you are very famous for service to our country.

        Corrine Brown is the first person/district I point to when someone brings up gerrymandering. Reason why I bring that up? She has been corrupt for a while and the powers that be that put her name on things haven't and will continue not to care.

        No building should be named after a living person, period! And especially not an active politician for whom such a designation is a benefit of incumbency.

        But given Gainesville's leftist leanings, we should be lucky they're not planning to erect a statue to Brown as Washington DC is doing to corrupt politician Marion Barry.

          I agree on most public buildings but when a donor to a public college donates a ton of money I have no problem with that I guess.
