I love watching #2 absolutely humble so many of the world’s best. The turtle-back greens have caused some really big numbers today!
The should be ashamed of themselves for ruining a beautiful course.

I got to play 6 of the 8 (at the time; now there are 10) courses in 2001. Number 2 is really difficult, but awesome nonetheless. Number 8 is overrated.

DeChambeau just made a clutch up-and-down and Rory pushed his drive in the native area…Brandel’s water just broke.

Such poetic justice that the PGA poster boy that whined and bytched so much about the LIV tour has to deal with the fact he gagged down the stretch and watched one of the guys he was backstabbing beat him on the biggest stage in the game. Fk you Rory.

Hats off to DeChambeau. It was more of a grind maybe than a work of art, but the guy showed a lot of fortitude and that is compelling at the highest level of sports. As for Rory…still Prince Valiant, but not yet King Arthur despite his early major successes. The clock is against him, however.

Down the stretch when it mattered, Bryson had two highlight reel par saves while Rory missed two short par-saving putts.

55 yard bunker shot hit to inside 4 feet.

The tour leader from 50-75 yards is Webb Simpson who hits to an average of almost 8 feet. And that is all shots, not bunker shots.
Tour average is 16 feet.

You're gonna see that shot again on replays.
