55 yard bunker shot hit to inside 4 feet.

The tour leader from 50-75 yards is Webb Simpson who hits to an average of almost 8 feet. And that is all shots, not bunker shots.
Tour average is 16 feet.

You're gonna see that shot again on replays.

It was less than a 2% chance

My son, 15, is now getting into golf. I take hom out 2-3x a week. But next week we go to FL for family vacation. I am debating us bringing clubs (and pissing off his mom).

A few days in g’ville - i remember ironwood and UF courses. Any others we should consider? Note - we suck, avg 2.5h/9holes, w a cart. Maybe some cheaper duffer courses outside town? Newberry, archer?

Last few days in st augustine. Open to suggestions there as well.

Not sure what they were protesting. They certainly didn’t gain any traction for their cause.

The LIV tourney is at the Grove which is just a mile or two away from our new place in Nashville.

The in-laws made a couple grand yesterday letting cars park in their field for 40 bucks apiece

This is actually the first time I've watched a LIV tourney. Kinda crazy, lol. Not bad though.

If you’re going to stay in or near St Auggy you should play the King and the Bear and the Slammer and the Squire.
World Golf Village.

I played in a few Summer slams on both where you golfed all day for 125 bucks.
I played 54 holes in one day on both courses.
Few years ago so, not sure if they still offer the “Solstice slam” deal.

Anyway, both courses are set up for the not so great golfer, unless you hit from the tips.
Wide fairways, water only in areas where you could get to if you’re trying to push above your HC.

Nice greens, deep sand traps but good courses that are just fun to play.

Appreciate the reply, will check them out. I'm only laughing to myself as my back is killing me by hole 15 on a regular basis...I'm so far gone out of shape. No way I could golf all day. Would love to, but not able to.

I hear ya. Once my back tightens up, I start slicing so bad it gets embarrassing. I just put the driver back in the bag.
I don't think I could play 36 in one day right now, much less 54.
18 is plenty.
