Footloose is a great American classic. Change my mind.
Don't need to if you say it is, then it definitely isn't.

Dogma and Chasing Amy are my favorite Kevin Smith movies. Not sure they fall into family friendly, but man they are good. Dogma gets extra points for having Alan Rickman in it.
Ghost Busters might have some language issues as well, depending on how you feel about it.
and while we're at it...
Bill Murray has had the BEST post-SNL career among the alumni...
change my mind...
(well, maybe Eddie Murphy... dammit)
For our generation, Clueless was so great. Wasn’t necessarily fond of how they portrayed the skateboarder, but after Point Break, I realized I had to temper my expectations. I find myself using lines from it all the time.
My better half even knows ONJ is my girlfriend. *sigh*Just because of ONJ.
Just because of ONJ
Different generation, but Will Ferrell has done well for himselfand while we're at it...

@Gatordiddy - derailing threads is what I do best but I get the feeling it's not appreciated on this board so I've tried to contain myself. In the PF there was a thread about Master P and his pancakes that mentioned beignets. I really wanted to post pictures of the amazing beignets the kids made this summer. However I resisted for fear of derailing the OP.
So here they are and they were AMAZING!
Back to the second topic. ONJ is fabulous. She's battled cancer 3 times now and has such a great disposition about it all. Truly and inspiration.
Sandler's net worth dwarfs them both... combined. You can add Murphy to that and combined those three about match Sandler's success. Odd that he's the bottom of the four acting wise for meDifferent generation, but Will Ferrell has done well for himself
