do the heavy rains help make the city smell better?

The rains helped when I was living in Manhattan to wash down the city sidewalks- didn’t help down in the subways though. smelled like Satan’s toilet down there. came across some good musicians though.

Rain yes it makes it smell much better for a short time...Sunday A.M. in the QTR in July is the worst...stale beer, piss, and a poor sewer system.
