With their fuss that Climate Change threatens the lives of polar bears, they ignore this longstanding data = polar bears in zoos around the nation, including Tampa, Orlando, have a much longer lifespan than polar bears in freezing territories. The lifespan of "free-living" polar bears is 25 years, while polar bears in zoos lifespan is 37 years. One had lived to 43 years before dying. All this is in much warmer climates than freezing.
These polar bears have a chilled pool to swim-play in, but they live outside in Florida's climate, San Diego's climate. Zoo visitors get to see them, photograph them asleep sunning themselves?) Polar bear scare is fake news. In the wild emaciated polar bears can occasionally be seen, photographed. Those are bears dying of old age or victims of nature's many infections, etc, etc. Every polar bear out there has to die sometime. But from 1955 to 2016 polar bear counts have their population rising greatly, actually thriving.
