Well, thank goodness that Muschamp is a defensive guru.

You know, Muschamp is all about breaking records here at UF. He broke a ton of them last year. And he's on his way to breaking more this year.

So glad we recruit 25 DBs every year. Your know, cause we are DB University.

Unbelievable. At half Muschamp made it seem like the defense wasn't doing that bad.

I'm pretty sure its Driskel's fault.

Driskel is just a contributor on the offense.

Well, those DBs are needed. And he gets the most out of them. And calls the best schemes.

Looks like we need more.........

Very frustrating. At times they look absolutely stifling. Then end up giving record yardage. Is it simply blown assignments? We need to find out who can play on consistent basis and just not flash occasionally.

Coach, I think the lack of pressure from the front 7 contributed but then, I could be wrong.

Once a team quits on a coach (or an officer) the game is over.

The game was over last October.

They ain't buying what coaching is selling. It's been a long time since I've seen tent folding in the Gator camp. This was like watching the Nebraska game at the end.

Man do I miss the safety play from 2012. What did we give up, one big play all year?

So basically you're saying you miss the days of Elam and Evans...or as I like to say, Meyer's recruits. Outside of Fowler and VH3, tell me who on this defense would've started from '05-'10.

That's getting to the core of the apple. 100% correct.

This defense reminds me of '07. Lack of pressure on the QB, and talented youth in the back seven. Complete mess!

It's a good thing we hired the best young defensive mind in the game. He played db in college and it totally worked to our advantage today?

Have to agree. The DT play is serviceable, but it's not Floyd and Easley.

The difference is you could see that Davis and others were merely young and would eventually be studs. I don't see that here.

And to be fair, we were a year removed from a title, so you had to kind of trust things. Again, not the case here.

We did have horrible FS play in Kyle Jackson too. I still remember meeting Kyle Jackson's mom that season. She told me that her son was a football player for UF and when I asked her she said 'Kyle Jackson' all I could reply with was 'Oh'. Still feel like a jerk now remembering the look on her face.
