You all have no idea what was consumed and drunk tonight. Good night.

I think you said your wife is Italian. Went to a friends house last night for dinner. He’s Italian. He had homemade baked ziti. Like homemade noodles and all. Smoked some meatballs on the smoker and then had them in “gravy”. He called marinara sauce “gravy”. I’ve never heard that before.Hammered.

Lots of wine. Good good wine.
Got it, you’re the Italian. Yes, he was from northeast. PSU grad.Nice. Yeah you’ll hear it called gravy by NY/NJ/Conn Italians. Kind of a wise guy slang. He or his family must be from there. That sounds great. It’s strange to think that something as simple as a meatball can be really good, but when done right(like that sounds) they can be incredible. They just generally aren’t.
My wife is Spanish. But she’s learned from my Italian side how to make pasta and a love for wine, which is why you see so many pics.
I’m surprised you didn’t finish the night with a Sambuca.

lamb chops yesterday. Reverse seared, slightly under but tasty, cauliflower mash and beans
Nice.
And again with the pristine pavers. Mine are so covered with algae they’re dangerous to walk on. Quite jealous.
