Marinated Flat Iron Steak from the egg with cannnelli beans, mixed veggies and a side salad. Accompanied by a glass of Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino. (Mrs G thought I used too much tarragon in the beans, whereas I did not. Conclusion? There was too much tarragon in the beans…..)

Late lunch or early dinner I guess. Picked some “mortgage producer heirloom” tomatoes and okra from the garden. This is my version of a stuffed bell pepper but use a tomato instead. Family wouldn’t touch it. They are tomato adverse.

Absolutely dreadful
The dog didn’t even come over to the kitchen table . Perhaps the first sign this wouldn’t last longer than two bites . I even hesitated giving it to the dog at one point . But at least something enjoyed it
