Do Belichick and Brady expose astrology as a non-science?

Tom Brady has been in the league for 18 seasons. He was hurt in the first game on season and missed the rest so let’s remove that season. So, 17 healthy seasons. He’s been to the Conference Championship Game 13 times. He’s been to 8 Super Bowls with a chance to go to a 9th. Let that sink in.

Players dream of going to 1 Super Bowl.

Gunna be honest, I have no friggin clue what the question is
With AR the questions is always, stars don't matter, right?

It really doesn't matter how else he tries to couch the question, he really only asks or asserts one thing.

It used to also be, Butters is a great coach and you are embarrassed at firing him, right? And you know that people in Muhsippi laugh at you, right? But he has moved on from that one.

It's more of a money thing. They have figured out that paying a college kid a zillion dollars doesnt make sense and their are better bargains in the lower rounds of the draft, in cut players especially ones who were hurt or whatever and cut just for roster reasons, talented but troubled projects, tweeners, etc.
No one else in the NFL can understand that? Doesn't seem likely.

Stars do matter, but they should not be worshipped. You genuflect too often.

Law just pointed out the bargain of drafting the lower rounds while facepalming AR over his belief that five-star athletes ought not be worshipped.

Okay.

We dont have to pay 12 mil or so to sign a 5 star. They would have to pay out the ass to sign a first rounder.

We don't get the option to trade five star recruits for multiple four or three star recruits. we just get 25ish. they do get the option trade first round picks for multiple third and fourth round picks.

You weren't very good at strategy games, were are you?

So you think Belichek is just the best GM in the NFL? The ingenuity of your argument is worthy of an attorney, but it's still crap.

Considering the objective is to win football games, and since scholarships are the equivalent to a salary cap, then I might paint that logic somewhat flawed.

We don't get to trade five-star recruits for multiple three- or four-stars? Really? What the hell do you think we've been doing all these years?

Go back to the drawing board.

I think you are certifiable nutbag if you think Belichek is anything but the best GM in the NFL.

AR will never recover from the death of the 3 Star Whisperer.

He will just keep with his inane babbling hoping to recover at some point.

Funny thing about Belichick's run. It's directly coincided with Brady's presence at quarterback. I'm sure it's only coincidental.

Let's see how the Pats fare shopping the middle rounds once Brady retires.

You really believe its all the QB, huh? Most chicks do.

Did you see Belichick make Drew Bledsoe allpro? See him with win w Jacoby Brissett?

Football is a team sport. Frankly the OL is way more important than any other position. Mediocre talents like McIlroy and McCarron look like world beaters behind great lines. It is the same with mediocre backs.

Football is a team sport, they all must perform. The scout staff and Quality must do their thing the GM or recruiters must do theirs.

Youre certifiably insane if you think it was just a "great QB" who struggled to hold his job at Meatchikn and was a sixth round draft pick who only started bc Bledsoe got hurt.

There is no doubt in my mind if Brady didnt return a few years ago, Brissett would be all pro by now w multiple rings. Or Hoyer.

Everything Saban learned about overpreparing every single aspect and having a staff member or team to perform every imaginable function, he learned from Belichick.

He did draft and develop Jimmy Garoppolo in the 2nd round from Eastern Illinois.

When talent levels are similar, coaching and scheme matter a lot.

When the talent differential is big enough, coaching and scheming are usually not sufficient.

In typical fashion, you had to twist my words in order to make your rambling point. I pointed out the obvious, that Belichick has benefitted from having the GOAT at quarterback. Are trying to deny that? You're the certifiable fool if you are.

Anyone in his right mind would question where the Pats will be without Brady. Anyone that is except Law, who's now painting Tom Brady out to be nothing more than a system quarterback.

:snicker:
