Rules state that each athlete must make an all out effort to win -- specifically states disqualification for any contrivance to finish in a tie. The 2 runners did not care. Said they were there to check out the venue before the upcoming Olympics there. Due to the extreme heat .the long distance was cut in half.

I assume they were trying to say they were gay? I don't see it nor do I care. It was against sportsmanship. Plain and simple.

I had to click just to find out that they weren’t Dairy Queened, and if they were, how the heck is it done.

It thought the story had more to do with the heat than the reason they were DQ'd.
