Congratulations @LaylaGator !!! I must admit I did come in here just to see if you tied one on starting at 12:01 am this morning.
All joking aside, and I don't know if this was hard for you or not, but I know by watching my brother and dad struggle with alcohol and it can be crippling. Both are/were high functioning as hell, but it is/was a daily drinking event. 6-8 beers minimum or 4-6 drinks bourbon, etc. Again, I don't know if that applies to you or not, but good on you non the less!!! I had to kick a smokeless tobacco habit 30 years ago and I know it was hard as hell for me.
One thing that helped me was someone who had quit told me "if you are going to let a little round can of Skoal make you its little bitch, you really are a little bitch". Ouch. Never met a Cuban woman who was ANYBODY'S bitch.

If they search my house, they will find lots of pairs of gloves (and some toddler mittens too). So, the first question is whether the glove in question is connected to the kidnapper. Then, the next question is when was it found and has it been forensically examined. They may have found it right away on day one and just didn't announce it. Evidence is often (almost always) withheld from the public unless it helps the investigation. If it was just discovered, then why the delay? Why wasn't it found sooner? Was it really well concealed?
