Needed:
Can of Pineapple – 1 cup
Brown Sugar - 1 cup
Liquid Smoke - 1 teaspoon
Hot Sauce - 1 teaspoon (or more to taste)
Note: I sometimes replace the pineapple (and juice) with MANGO
Drain about half a can of the pineapple juice into a bowl (about -1 cup)
Grind 1-2 slices of pineapple and add to the bowl
Add the other ingredients and mix
Brush a thick coating of glaze on the ham before heating but keep ½ in reserve
Heat the ham covered – I use a Baking Bag
Brush the remaining glaze on the warmed ham and turn the heat up to 450F or on Broil
Heat again for 5-10 minutes un-covered
Let sit for 10 minutes and serve
