I hope they have the world's largest mirror to look into when they try to figure out why their viewership is plummeting.

ESPN has basically become a shill for anyone who has given them a large contract. They are biased and ****ty.

I'm sure none of the 300 jobs will be many of the terrible "commentators" they employ including Steven A and Skip Bayless.

Simple solution.

Cut Bayless, Stephen A, and completely eliminate those midday shows like His and Hers. Just re-run SportsCenter/CFB/NFL shows throughout the day. Not sure exactly who you're even targeting at 11am-3pm. Most people who your advertisers are trying to reach are at work.

Take away the DJ and some of the fluff on College Gameday. Slash the pay of Howard and Corso. And ding Berman 25k every time he says "Raaaiiiiders" "or back back back back..."

They're dumb enough to think that this will increase their viewership by 300.

They just need to go out and hire someone who is irreverent and will tell it like it is regardless of whether there is some business relationship with ESPN involved. Someone that is also funny and entertaining... Maybe someone like Bill Simmons.

I think it also has to do with ESPN getting too political. We don't turn on sports to get more of that BS....we watch sports hopefully to get away from it.

Owned by Disney... maybe that's why I'm paying $90/night next week to park my camper therefor half a week; to keep the lights on at ESPN

Which is the reason they got rid of him

Whoever came up with the idea of putting Dan Le BaTARD on the prime morning commute slot has to be one of the 300 getting the Axe. What an effing joke they are becoming.

I hope they bring the comment section back. That was the best place to troll any fanbase.

They still have it, you just need a Facebook login.

So no actual men would have access then.
