There are very few things, if any, I hate more than a dawg or a dawg fan. Everything about the state and especially that university. I’ll admit I have friends who are alum and fans of this ****. They helped increase my hatred for the way they behave. If they weren’t female there have been multiple occasions I would have taken the gloves off on them. And when they win, ANY GAME. poor self concept, anger and depression. UGA had some success a LONG time ago. Won that title with players that "somehow" were not fighting overseas in WW2. So much to be proud of and embrace. Then they had the embarrassment of fixing a game with the Bear in the early sixties. His name was Butts (so appropriate). Then along comes an Auburn grad with the most boring ass football in history. He procures the best RB in 50 yrs and somehow finally beats Notre Dame (only in that game because of their name) for a national title long before most of you here we breathing. Dooley's real claim to fame was keeping UF from ever winning an SEC title for much too long in my gator history. He would play def, punt punt punt UNTIL you made a mistake and/or run one trick play to beat you. Finally, Charlie Pell comes along and begins that even up stuff for awhile. God smiles down in 1990 and the worm turns. SOS gives back to UGA times 10 what Dooley was doing before that. Dogs slowly crawled with their tails between their legs back to that ugly clay dirt road they call jawja. Richt comes along with some hope. Gators still killing them. Now they got Kirby. Takes them to the edge of euphoria and an 18 yr old Hawaiian crushes them. Honestly, I dont see how they have stood it this long. Now it appears that Kirby and his stable of five stars are not quite as good without the coaching that needs to go along with it. That is the short history. Now put on your gator best Friday and strut a little. Then air dry it for Saturday and send all your good thoughts toward Jax to everything orange and blue. Go Gators.
