You realize Mertz was doing the Billy special double play action fake (fake to TB and fake to jet) before throwing, right? While DJ did a straight 3 step drop, right?

It's really the perfect example of why Billy's signature play is trash.

Not my point. Watch in that video I replied to how Mizzell needs to slow down for the ball. Meaning, if he’s open and underthrown, he’s now covered. Not the timing of when they release the ball. We saw the same all last year in camp videos.
