Add Team America soundtrack to those... and this...What's everyone's favorite "fake" song from a movie or tv show?
For me, there's one clear-cut winner: Scotty Doesn't Know from EuroTrip.
Though I could be talked into any number of songs from "Get Him to the Greek" and/or "Pop Star."
The Monkees theme song
Don't forget "I'm a Believer".Started out fake (or contrived). Pleasant Valley Sunday and Last Train to Clarksville were pretty good after they learned to play instruments. I think Nesmith was the only musician to begin with. Watched the show every week because, well, miniskirts.
Neil Diamond wrote that (and a couple of others) for them.Don't forget "I'm a Believer".

So, the Neil Diamond cover of I'm a Believer wasn't? I still like the Diamond version better.Neil Diamond wrote that (and a couple of others) for them.
Lead singer instrument.Pretty sure Davy Jones just shook a maraca/tambourine. A monkey could do that. An actual monkey.
