The actual pilot Sullenberger had a cameo in Daddy’s Home 2. Played himself. Instant classic with Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Jon Lithgow, and Mel Gibson.

Who's Sully?

I thought it might be worth a mention that Sully is probably the main reason UF is building a $65,000,000 stadium.

Yes, but that is all in the rear view mirror. What has he done lately? Seems like all those top rated recruits are practically doing nothing. The empty stadium speaks volumes of where the program is right now!

So Sully is one of the reasons the football program is in the dumper. The greedy prick hijacked $65m that would have been better spent on football facilities improvements.

There's that, plus I told them that I wanted a seat in the shade. Those afternoon games at McKethan are brutal

I’m watching the 2009 CWS finals on SEC Network. LSU vs Texas.

Sully didn’t make it to the finals that year. Just sayin’.

We beat Miami in the regional and lost to Southern Miss in the super-regional. Pretty good for his second year at UF and second year as a head coach.

Was the loss in the Supers a “0 & 2, it’s time for BBQ” Sully special? Quite frankly I can’t remember. It’s tough to keep all of Sully’s spectacular flameouts straight.
