We had a chill easy day on the water yesterday. Hit the tip of the Mayport inlet for a little while. 18 inch red and jumped three small tarpon. Had one on for about three minutes and he finally broke me off boatside. He was about 20 lbs. Moved upriver and fished some rocks near Clapboard and picked up the mangos. After that we hit Palms fish camp for an early dinner. Was a good Father's Day on the water.

My buddy is in Sweden right now. Here’s a photo of a guy fishing in the middle of Stockholm right in front of their Parliament.

Visiting dad in Tallahassee and he’s a late sleeper. I decided to walk around the pond this morning before the day heats up too much. I see a big fish near the bank so I head over towards it when a baby alligator that I didn’t notice jumps back into the water so I watch him for a while. He’s a little one but must have come from Lake Iamonia nearby.

Decided to sit for a while on the bridge that crosses to the island when I notice a fish about 2’ long feeding in the shallow water. Either a big catfish or carp I guess. I start to video it when my sunglasses fall into the pond! Ugh. Actually got it on video and the curse words to follow. Went back to the house for a dip net that just barely reached the pond bottom. After dragging it across several times I successfully “caught” my Ray Bans! Woohoo:dance:

You lost your shades in a pond then managed to "catch" them. I brought my best pair of shades with me to Kauai. They broke! :banghead:

My good wife has you both beat. She dropped her phone in the Pacific while we were in Kauai on our 50th anniversary!

@Seedy dropped a rope over the side of the boat and quickly reached over to “save” it and dropped his Costas in the process. Turned out the rope floated, the glasses did not.
