Home game. ..... 9PM ... SECN

Marshall, the Thundering Herd, record 2-3, played nobody good yet.
G West averages 15.4 ppg, 5'11" G
Kinsey ave. 15.0 ppg, as a 6'5" G
Williams aves 9.0 ppg as a 6'9" F

Marshall's vitals :
FG% = 44.7% {UF = 43.5%}
3pt% = 24.5% {UF = 31.2%}
FT% = 58.4% {UF = 70.6%}
rebs/g = 41 {UF = 36.7}
TOs/g = 17 {UF = 12.4}
Steals/g = 8.2 {UF = 5.4}
Blocks/g = 8.4 {UF = 4.1}

Gators looking like a 2nd half team. Marshall has faced only poor teams, in both halves. .
K.Johnson is hitting 58.5% of his FGs. Because he's taking them in towards the basket.
Blackshear is hitting 50% of his FGs.
Above 'em all, by hitting 4 of 6, Jitiboh is our top shooter with a 66.7% FG%. :cool:

It's all about the Gators continuing to get better, take better care of the ball, move without the ball and get used to working as a team. The potential is almost limitless. Goooo Gators!!

Mann Confident His Breakout Moment is Coming - Florida Gators

From the time he arrived on campus in July, Mann has been arguably the most consistent all-around shotmaker — as in shooting, driving or just plain going and getting a bucket — on the team. There's a reason he started the first four games of the season. Mann is a loaded weapon that Coach Mike White and his staff are going to find a place for in the rotation on a team that is scoring 66.9 points per game and shooting 31 percent from the 3-point line.

"He is our most talented offensive player — not our best, because he is learning — and he is very inexperienced," White said. "He is a freshman of course, but he can really get it going in bunches and he can get it going in a variety of different ways. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when and how. We will find a way."

I'm sorry Mann had that concussion derail his progress. But before Mann got hurt, his stats were so-so.
Averaging 18 minutes per game, Mann displayed : FG% = 32% .... 3pt% = 16.9% ... FT% = 50%. Those stats hardly say "move over I have arrived". Those %s would have hurt the Gators in this 3 game win streak of better basketball.

Because of pre-college play, Mann is thought of as a game-changer, a team-changer. He has not produced anything of note. Let him earn his way back into minutes by causing our scoring or our defense to ensure winning. This squad we have now is just getting started; don't jumble that up for "new" potential.

When we get into games where White wouldn't be risking a loss, he should go to Jitoboh for observation and development. In future games against those so much better teams, it will be the pass or fail of our inside game, O & D, that determines winning. If this team continues its process of "know thyself", us Gator fans are in for many treats.

He has been hands down the best offensive player in practice but hesitant in games. It will come with him being a freshman. He needs to be on the floor and a lot imo. Once he gets it going it will coming in a hurry

Florida is up 2-0 at the under 16 timeout. Horrible offense early. Extremely slow and missed 2 open 3pters

I love when we play these showcase games that stay tight throughout. Feels like a preview of the NC game.

2 turnovers and 2 straight possesions taking a shot at the end of the clock. We may be losing at half at the pace

White is gonna force his crappy slow offense on this set of players regardless of what’s best for the team. Muschamp of basketball.

Yea we lose this and I’m fully on the Fire White train. Winning by less than 15 is unacceptable.

Some real bad turnovers and sloppy play by our guys . Poor passes by numerous guards . Real poor start
